The Lange Bahn mountain hut is located in the middle of the forest at the end of the archaeological hiking trail and is a nice place to stop on a hike. Here you can get simple food and drinks. The mountain, which is forested up to the southern edge of the valley, belongs on the south side to the district of Grub and Eichenberg, both small forest villages near Themar in the Hildburghausen district. Great way on the height between Lengfeld and Tachbach. I always use it, for example, to drive from Suhl to Themar via Schneeberg. A great connection instead of using the main road.
