The small reservoir is located at the eastern foot of the Großer Gleichberg between Roth and Buchenhof. You can reach it via the local road Roth - Gleichamberg. The main division shows strict symmetry in the longitudinal and transverse directions, but this is more or less ignored in the arrangement of the individual parts. Two views in the north-south direction from the palace balcony and from the cascades to the Pilar and one in the east-west direction without an emphasized destination or starting point were kept clear; the remaining part was through taxus or foliage walls (taxus = yew, the author), some with cut-out windows dismantled into closed rooms.
