a very nice, quiet lake, lots of seating to enjoy the nature here - a privately maintained facility

And the trail is really varied, but a bit short.

Actually more suitable for mountain bikes, but the ride there is always fun. Roots, a narrow path, crossing a small bridge and a short, crisp climb make the whole thing entertaining.

Very nice corner, from there you can see the Kleiner Gleichberg well, which can be another destination. The lake is often used for swimming, although it is forbidden in some places. It's always a good place to stay or have a picnic.

Rother reservoir near Römhild

A reservoir at the foot of the Gleichberge with a beautiful panorama. Invites you to take a little rest. To be reached via a forest path from Roth, or a trail from Waldhaus.
