The Königsbachtal, along the stream of the same name, is only 2.4 kilometers long, but even experienced hikers are required to complete it. In the valley, right at the entrance to the hiking trail, there is a lovingly designed water wheel in the Königsbach, surrounded by some seating.

This initially wide path becomes increasingly narrow and rocky, partly exposed, and meanders wildly romantically down into the Zschopautal. It is about 1 km long. Via Mala is a path from the 19th century that was cut into the steep slope of the Zschopau in the 1970s. The narrow bridge over the “Devil’s Gorge” with a view of an overgrown rock is particularly exciting. Via Mala is also known as a mountain road in the Alps as the “bad (evil) way”.
