A really nice place in town - with some wonderful cafes and ice cream parlors (like the amazing "Clausmachen".

There are numerous beautiful houses around Marienplatz. The Lederhaus with its painted facade is particularly noteworthy. It stands opposite the town hall and used to serve as a market building for shoemakers and saddlers. In summer you can climb the Blaserturm and have a great view of Ravensburg from there.

The paths are very well laid out. There are pull-over bays along the wooden walkways, and viewing platforms are also installed.

From the tower's observation deck, you have a magnificent 360° view of the reed bed. The tower features numerous wooden statues of local animals. There's also a small room with information panels at the bottom right of the tower base.

Several signposted hiking trails and a reed nature trail with information boards lead through the area known to the locals as Pfrunger Ried. The view from the Bannwaldturm is also very beautiful; it got its name because the surrounding forest is known as Bannwald for historical reasons. And the best thing: the Bannwaldturm can be climbed free of charge at any time. However, it can only be reached by hiking, most easily from the car park near the country road from Ostrach towards Laubach. The path to the tower is signposted. Very beautiful idyllic lake, pleasantly shady
