Bad Saulgau “spa and spa town” The spa town of Bad Saulgau (until 2000 Saulgau) is located in the center of Upper Swabia and is the largest city in the Sigmaringen district. The small town was the seat of the Oberamt Saulgau until 1934, of the Saulgau district from 1934 to 1938 and finally the district town of what was then the Saulgau district until December 31, 1972. Since 1990 the city has been called a place with healing springs and a spa, and since 2000 it has been called a spa.
