The Untermhäuser Bridge is a historic pedestrian bridge over the White Elster in Gera. It connects the historical center of the Untermhaus district on the western bank of the river with Küchengartenallee and Orangery and is therefore part of the historical axis from Untermhaus to the city center.

The Köstritzer Park and especially the seating at the animal enclosure are very well attended when the weather is good. There is also delicious ice cream nearby on the main street.

The park of Bad Köstritz is directly adjacent to the Weiße Elster. It is worth taking a break here. There is plenty to discover in the park: There are some wooden sculptures, a temple and an animal enclosure. The beautiful plant of the dahlia arch is also adjacent.
