I also visited this church from the inside. The Evangelical Lutheran parish of Sankt Marien Gera-Untermhaus/ Thieschitz is a growing parish in the parish of Gera.

The Untermhäuser Bridge is a historic pedestrian bridge over the White Elster in Gera. It connects the historical center of the Untermhaus district on the western bank of the river with Küchengartenallee and Orangery and is therefore part of the historical axis from Untermhaus to the city center.
