After Kühberg, the trail continues through the forest for a while before the panorama opens up towards Jöhstadt. We encountered very little traffic here, and the road was in good condition. It was fun to climb.

From the otherwise wooded nature, you suddenly find yourself in a completely different world. Admittedly, winter adorns the lake with a unique light that is not apparent in summer.

Traditional, rustic gastronomy in the middle of the Ore Mountains. Very fine and tasty cuisine, as well as friendly staff. Ideal starting point for hikes on the D/Cz side. There is a large hiking car park just a short distance away👍

From the edge of Ehrenfriedersdorf, a moderate incline (approx. 8%) on a two-lane road towards Freiberg, is followed by a great descent to Wolkenstein and then a wonderful ride through the Heidelbach valley to Zschopau, highly recommended. Almost no traffic!
