The summit cross on the Kronsberg marks Hanover's highest point – 118 meters above sea level. It stands on an artificially raised observation hill on the southeastern outskirts of the city, near the Expo site. From here, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the city, the Deister Mountains, and the surrounding countryside.

A really good bicycle highway (lit)

For several years now, an avenue of trees has been created in the center of Isernhagen by planting native fruit species, especially rare ones. The project was initiated by the Isernhagen Citizens' Foundation. With a donation of €100, any citizen, association, or similar organization can become a "tree sponsor," which can include selecting the fruit tree species, planting, and caring for the tree.

First stop at the lake. The kiosk opens at 1 p.m.!

A medium-sized lake with a high recreational value and few places to stop for refreshments. It's often very crowded as a swimming lake in summer.

A lovely spot with a bench for a break. There's a view of the entire lake.
