There are many highlights about the square, but I'll add one more because it's one of my favorite places in Hanover.
Just make sure the weather is good and then go there with your camera and take great pictures and enjoy the sunrise or sunset.

In good weather, the panorama reaches into the Leinebergland, the Deister, the Kaliberg of Sehnde, the Mehrum power plant and over Hanover. Just a great place for wide views. Unfortunately, there are no benches, but nice stones and shady lawns to linger.

The Kronsberg is a six-kilometer-long ridge on the southeastern outskirts of Hanover between the Hanover Exhibition Center, the Expo Park and the Bockmerholz. The Kronsberg towers over the adjacent areas by up to 30 meters. The highest point of the Kronsberg is the observation hill with a height of 118 m above sea level. NN. The Kronsberg towers above the average height of Hanover by 63 meters. It is the highest natural elevation of the city and consists mainly of limestone marl.
