There is a lot going on at the Bridge Festival.

Delicious cakes at Bäcker Schröder (Markt 31), or stop off at the “Historisches Landküchencafé” (Markt 23).

Partial stage of the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route. Rain shelter not far from the signposted entrance. Gas station and supermarket at the entrance to Güstrow.

There are also benches below the bridge.

The Bützow-Güstrow Canal connects the Nebel River in Güstrow with the Warnow near Bützow. The canal is the remnant of an inland waterway from Rostock to Berlin that was planned in the 19th century but only partially realised. Beautiful bike path always along the canal. Hard sand in the first section, smooth concrete in the second section, tarmac in the third section up to Bützow. Relaxed driving.

Oder-Havel cycle and hiking trail or simply towpath. Beautifully developed and signposted cycle path. In the time trial against the thunderstorm, unfortunately, I had to continue quite quickly. I would drive by again!

A really beautiful cycle path along the canal. I always enjoy cycling along here. No car traffic.
