So, Leer really has a beautiful old town and an interesting history that you shouldn't miss. So take your time and definitely plan a ski tour (obtain information from the tourist office). It's really interesting. And there is a beautiful nature reserve in Leer with lakes that are also perfect for picnics. And a maze in which it's good to have a cell phone with a navigation system so you can find your way out again😉There are many nice opportunities to eat, drink tea in the East Frisian style and also opportunities to walk at the harbor or take a boat tour. I still can't write it down here, but it works fine.🫣

The Brigg Friederike is a museum ship in the Emsland town of Papenburg in Lower Saxony and the town's landmark. It is easily accessible on the main canal opposite the town hall and St. Nicholas Church.
