A beautiful path along the Örtze River. Right by the water, narrow and close to nature. Just what you'd want. You'll need a sure footing, though. There are a lot of roots along the path.

On the Heidschnuckenweg, the stage from Faßberg towards Celle, the juniper forest and the adjacent heathland are the first highlights. The route runs across and then along the edge, so that you can really enjoy the juniper forest to the full.

Beautiful path along the Örtze river! Part of the Heidschnuckenweg between Müden and Poitzen. In summer and when it's hot, it's also popular with horseflies that lie in wait.
