In 1911, due to impending dilapidation and a lack of space with only 226 seats, the new St. James' Church became the parish's main church. However, services are still held in the well-renovated church today.

A lock tour takes place every second Saturday of the month at 3 p.m. It costs €5. The meeting point is the car park at the lock restaurant.
