very large heathland with many large juniper trees in the southern part particularly beautiful juniper trees in park-like landscape. Hiking parking Schmarbeck with large rest area and information boards. Bus service from Unterlüß station (direction Celle) also at the weekend (2-3 rides).

The path through the heather is very easy to drive on with the fine gravel surface, in dry as well as in damp weather. A relief if you have previously driven the wide paths with coarse gravel.

A wonderfully beautiful path in a wonderfully beautiful landscape. The single trail is freshly rolled and covered with fine split, which allows even narrow tires to roll off comfortably, safely and without any noticeable bumps.

The juniper forest lies high on a plateau on the Faßberg and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape with the Haußelberg in the south. Unfortunately, the birches on the Faßberg are now so high that the summit cross in the middle of the tree group almost disappears.
