The extensive heathland with its numerous, gnarled junipers is considered the largest and most beautiful juniper forest in northern Germany.

very large heathland with many large juniper trees in the southern part particularly beautiful juniper trees in park-like landscape. Hiking parking Schmarbeck with large rest area and information boards. Bus service from Unterlüß station (direction Celle) also at the weekend (2-3 rides).
