The Cross Canal in Schwerin Palace Gardens is one of the most impressive design elements of the historic park surrounding Schwerin Palace. One of Germany's most beautiful castles. A hub of Schwerin during peak season. Countless other cultural monuments await in Schwerin.

The castle has been home to the parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 1990, and many members of parliament have their offices within the vastness of the castle complex. The bike path around the castle lake, as in such metropolises, is top-notch. A bit out of the way, well, that's all.

The castle garden is beautifully landscaped and incredibly well-maintained, making it a perfect place to stroll and linger. You can also enjoy a fantastic view of the castle from every angle and distance.
