This magnificent jewel is located directly on Lake Schwerin. Schwerin Castle is certainly one of the most beautiful in Germany. I couldn't decide which side is the prettiest. Whether at sunset from the lake side or with the beautifully landscaped castle park in the foreground. After the walk, you can also visit the fairytale castle from the inside as part of a guided tour.

Originally built as a Slavic castle over a thousand years ago, over the centuries this beautiful, magnificent fairytale castle has been created, rightfully on the World Heritage List. Embedded in the lake landscape, you can stroll through the lovingly designed gardens, visit the castle museum, or visit the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which has its seat here. There is a lot to marvel at and admire, one of the top highlights that must be visited.
