Today, the Kreuzkanal (Cross Canal) is one of the most popular spots in Schwerin Palace Gardens. Highlight?????? Really????? There are so many great things in the city, but the Ampelmänchen, which is literally everywhere, didn't really make me cheer.

Cult and not far from the castle.

The Petermännchen is a small goblin with a sword, lantern and bunch of keys, a sinister look and a pointed feather hat. Despite his sinister look, he is said to be good-natured. He only gets angry when he is red and you cross the street anyway 😉
