The current church was built between 1875 and 1879 in the center of the old town on the foundations of a previous building. Between 1974 and 1977, it was extensively remodeled with funding from one of the GDR's church building programs, at a cost of 480,000 Deutschmarks. It is a cruciform church (architecture) according to the building standards of the Eisenach regulations.

This ruined bridge is located on Lindenstrasse south of the A24 north of the city of Hagenow between the Viez district and the Gammelin district of Bakendorf. It dates from the 1930s and was intended to lead the connecting road over the originally planned course of the Hamburg-Berlin Reichsautobahn. The A 24 motorway, completed in 1982, runs in a northern arc around the former route planning, which can still be seen on aerial photographs. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagenow

This historic building, built in 1852, is Wittenburg's jewel. It boasts a surprising architectural style for a small Mecklenburg town. The town hall is very popular with bridal couples due to its inviting interiors and beautiful open staircase.

In Wittenburg, cultural history and modernity have found a pleasant harmony. A picturesque setting in extensive forests, lush meadows and colorful fields give the small Mecklenburg town its scenic location. Lively - like the town itself - the Motel River meanders through Wittenburg, which has around 5,000 inhabitants. Its history is as varied as the town. Already mentioned as an important trading town in the Imperial Charter of Lübeck in 1226, Wittenburg is one of the oldest towns in Mecklenburg. The Wittenburg market square exudes a special flair. A graceful square, surrounded by buildings from different centuries. The jewel of the market square, however, is the town hall, built in 1852. The unusual architectural style based on English Tudor Gothic, but above all the name of the famous Schwerin castle architect G. A. Demmer, make this building unique among the town halls in West Mecklenburg. The only flour sack museum in the world now stands on the former castle grounds of the Amtsberg. The municipal local history museum and the Amtsberg tower are also worth a visit. Bridge ruins at Viez, on the formerly planned route of the Reichsaotobahn RAB 44 Hamburg-Berlin from the 1930s, near the present A 24. ----------- Nich quits from Hagenow at Viez / Bakendorf, does not support any other Brügg, orre carrier say, part of a Brügg. They are out of the 1930s Johorn and were built for the 'Reichsautobahn 44' 'Hamburg-Berlin'. People in the end come everywhere else as thought, well first Johr later when the 'BAB 24 Hamburg-Berlin' (BRD DDR) was up in the boats which another Padd bowed furiously.
