First mentioned as a castle at the end of the 12th century, Penkun Castle is today one of the last remaining castles of the Pomeranian Dukes. The castle association runs a border and customs museum in the former administrator's house, and there is a small exhibition on the judicial system in Pomerania in the castle cellar.

In 1638, Georg and Dorothea von Eickstedt donated a single-nave Renaissance hall church with a barrel vault, a square west tower and a five-sided east end. The family built the first manor house in 1609 and the second Rothenklempenow manor house in 1761. The church was renovated in 1738 and received its current appearance with the closed wooden lantern on the baroque octagonal tower top. Above the south portal there is a large inscription cartouche framed by pilasters with the donor coat of arms of the von Eickstedt family. The baroque furnishings have been preserved inside. The large pulpit altar from 1738 has an elaborate acanthus carving on the pulpit basket and the cheeks. The canopy above the pulpit with a rich crowning is supported by columns. The prospectus of the "ruler's box" dates from the same period.

Very pretty to look at but unfortunately inaccessible behind a fence.

The manor was built by the Jordan family at the end of the 19th century. After 1945, the manor house was initially used as a refugee accommodation, and later as a school. In 1996, the manor was purchased by the grandson of the last owners. Since its subsequent renovation, it has been used as a residential building and a holiday apartment. Behind the manor house there is a small, well-kept park. The farm buildings with two impressive stables from around 1900 have survived from the manor complex. The farm buildings were also renovated. There is a museum of vintage cars in the former barn.

Picturesquely situated on the castle hill, the residence in Penkun dominates the city. In addition to the castle dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, the entire complex of buildings includes relics of a medieval stronghold, a gatehouse from 1486, a gate from 1614, the manager's house from the 18th century and a farm building built in the 19th century.

Directly on the shore of Lake Lebehner See, a new representative manor house was built between 1907 and 1912, commissioned by the Cologne cement manufacturer Carl Königs and his wife Ursula, née von Dewitz. The old manor house then served as the estate manager's house. The previous owners of the Königs, who owned the estate from 1905 until the expropriation in 1945, were the Brandeck-Nadrense families, who sold it to the von Ramin family, who in turn sold it to the Gamp brothers. After 1945, both houses were initially used as refugee accommodation, and later also for municipal purposes and rural consumption. Today they are private property. The renovation of the manor house has started.

The first mention of the village of Rothenklempenow comes from 1295 as a castrum of Clempen, as a castle on the northern border between Pomerania and Brandenburg. In 1638, Georg and Dorothea von Eickstedt donated a single-nave Renaissance hall church with a barrel vault, a square western tower and a five-sided eastern pediment. The family built the first manor house in 1609 and the second manor house in Rothenklempenow in 1761. The church was renovated in 1738 and acquired its current appearance with a closed wooden lantern on the baroque top of the octagonal tower. Above the southern portal, there is a large inscription cartouche surrounded by pilasters with the coat of arms of the donor, the von Eickstedt family. Inside, the baroque furnishings have been preserved. The large pulpit altar from 1738 has intricate acanthus carving on the pulpit basket and cheeks. The canopy over the pulpit with a rich crown is supported by columns. The prospectus of the "Ruler's Lodge" comes from the same period.
