At the same time, the mill owner Paul Scherz had the spring flowing into the Wurlsee surrounded. He gave it the name “Ilsenquelle”. At that time the spring was a popular place where young girls went to get Easter water. After washing with the spring water on Easter morning, they hoped to find the right person for a covenant of life the following year.
