„Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott” (우리 하나님은 견고한 성이시라) – 루터는 1529년에 자신이 작곡한 찬송가를 이렇게 제목 붙였습니다. 노래에서 찬양하는 것만큼 그의 동상이 있는 프렌츨라우의 상황이 좋지 않은 것은 유감입니다. 루터의 청동 동상은 리체셀이 보름스에 있는 기념비의 복제품으로 제작했습니다. 받침대 없이 우리 프렌츨라우 시민 비트가 기증한 기념비는 높이가 3.42미터입니다. 1903년 10월 31일 종교개혁일에 시장 서쪽에 있는 첫 번째 장소에서 공개되었습니다. 1936년 10월 28일, 동상은 비트슈트라세/클로스터슈트라세 모퉁이, 현재의 장소로 이전되었습니다.

Today the Dominican monastery is a cultural site and houses a museum From the website of the city of Prenzlau: Lavishly restored at the end of the 1990s, the sacred building is now one of the best-preserved medieval monastery complexes in north-eastern Germany. The cloisters as well as the refectory, the monks' former guest dining room, the sacristy and the women's chapel are special eye-catchers and invite you to let your imagination run wild and venture into history.
