The Amalienruhe, an idyllic vantage point on the Schluchsee shore, enchants with a beautiful lake panorama. A romantic "Bellevue Pavilion" was built on this characteristic rocky outcrop when tourism at Schluchsee was still in its infancy. The Amalienruhe is located directly on the circular lake trail and rewards all hikers and walkers with an impressive all-round view of a wonderfully harmonious Black Forest landscape. Nicely designed starting point for the Jägersteig connoisseur path 👍 Unfortunately, it is located directly on the main road 😔

It is a quiet section of the Schluchsee, in which it is very nice to hike or walk.

The path behind the gate was renewed on August 2nd, 2021! So we had to walk a few hundred meters further on the road - but one day later it was free again!
