Amalienruhe is the name given to a rocky outcrop with a Bellevue Pavilion on Lake Schluchsee, located on a small peninsula south of the Schluchsee railway line (Wolfsgrund). Even back when tourism in the Black Forest was still in its infancy, a "viewing pavilion" was built on the characteristic rocky outcrop. From Amalienruhe, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Schluchsee landscape and the village of Schluchsee. This romantic setting is a perfect place to say "I do." Amalienruhe is also part of the lakeside trail.

The Amalienruhe, an idyllic vantage point on the Schluchsee shore, enchants with a beautiful lake panorama.

A romantic "Bellevue Pavilion" was built on this characteristic rocky outcrop when tourism at Schluchsee was still in its infancy. The Amalienruhe is located directly on the circular lake trail and rewards all hikers and walkers with an impressive all-round view of a wonderfully harmonious Black Forest landscape.
