Brandenbourg Castle (French: Château de Brandenbourg), now a ruin, is located on a promontory some 70 metres above the village of Brandenbourg in north-eastern Luxembourg. Nice end to a beautiful day in Vianden. The leisurely trip up the mountain and back down again costs 5.80 euros. Just get off at the top and enjoy Vianden from above with a cup of coffee or a cold beer.
