I like to recommend a hike from Vianden to Falkenstein Castle over the ridge. You can't get to the castle. But the way is awesome!

Even if you only get to the gate. The path is incredibly great and recommendable.

From the dam wall at the pumped storage power plant you can enjoy a wonderful view of Vianden Castle.

chairlift The only cable car in Luxembourg is in Vianden. The chairlift, which was completely renovated in 2006, leads from the 220m valley to a height of 440m.
