Crossing the stream is very dangerous. I fell and broke my femoral neck because of the missing railing. Now, there's a huge detour, with a considerable elevation gain, to avoid this hazard. Unfortunately, no one feels responsible for reinstalling the railing that was removed after the storm. It's a real shame. The Kyll Valley Cycle Path is increasingly losing popularity.

Burg Bruch, we were served by very friendly staff. The beer garden is pretty and the cheesecake is a dream.

The Bruch mill is one of the oldest Salm mills. In the letter of freedom for the Bruch valley from 1284, it was already referred to as a ban mill, as it had always been. The oil mill is still completely intact in its structural structure today and was extensively renovated and repaired in 1984/85, including all of the mill technology.
