Beautiful forest path along ingenious moss-covered rocks

A great place, a beautiful view and a great place to enjoy the break after the arduous climb. The summit cross of the 979m high Käsplatte is illuminated at night, the summit plateau is covered with granite blocks, similar to the Lusen, the view is stunning. Sit down, breathe deeply and enjoy.

A very mystical place. There are several circular routes that you can walk through an enchanted forest along the mining pit to the big post. This one is really impressive! At the end there is something historical about the place, how the rock made it from the rock down to the valley. If you are nearby, you should take a little walk. The little loop trail was about a 1-1/2 hour walk. You can park right at the beginning of the circular route.

The "Pfahl" nature reserve is one of the most important geotopes in Bavaria.

The Blaibacher See has been a reservoir on the Schwarzer Regen between Viechtach and Cham since October 1964 with a water surface of around 47 hectares. The Pulling power plant, named after the nearby Blaibach district of Pulling, is located at the barrage built between 1962 and 1964.
