Beautiful view

Thanks to the great commitment of many voluntary helpers and sponsors, this building, based on an idea by Ralph Wenzel, could be realized on the Tannenriegel (Gibacht, Waldmünchen). About 10 tons of stones, some of which come from the most diverse regions and countries of the world, were laid in painstaking hard work. In the western direction, 4 hand-cast glass elements were used, which glow at night using solar technology. So, next to a disc of the world - an Islamic crescent, a Christian cross and a Star of David - send light signals into the world to call people to more peace and understanding among themselves.

Nice resting place and nice view from the tower

Reopened under a new tenant since Saturday August 27th, the first response is very positive.

Great castle ruins with accessible tower and great views. A small donation is requested.

This hiking trail is very adventurous but also safe thanks to the ropes. It's really fun.

On the western foothills of the Gibacht mountain, the fir tree, there is also the "lighthouse of humanity". This remarkable tower was built with stones from all over the world. The lighthouse is dedicated to the reconciliation between peoples and their different religions. Here you also have a wonderful view of the "Upper Palatinate hill country".
