Lochbach south to the Unterbergen barrage. Turn left there and immediately left again on a good, wide dirt road northwards...❣️

The view of the barrage near Klosterlechfeld offers the opportunity to take a break on the nearby benches. From here you have a view of the Alps.

In more than a hundred years since it was founded, St. Ottilien has developed into today's extensive monastery complex. The focal point for the monks' fulfilling exchange with God is the monastery church, which is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The neo-Gothic building with its imposing crossing tower was built according to the plans of the Munich architect Hans Schurr.
