Unfortunately, only the outer walls are more or less preserved and the keep is called the Römerturm, with a diameter of 9 meters and a height of approx. 18 meters. The tower can be climbed as a lookout tower after prior registration in Landsberg. However, the view of the Lech Plain and the Alpine chain is largely impaired by tall trees.

The old castle ruins are always worth a trip. Since it can be reached very quickly, there is no need for much preparation or getting up early. In the ruins you can walk around the walls, climb them and linger in the shade. The tower is unfortunately closed, which is a shame because the view of the Lech must be a dream.
