A fantastic view of the Rhine plain and also of the other Black Forest heights. Hornisgrinde, Badener Höhe and also the Hohlohturm and the Teufelsmühle are wonderful to see. When the weather is nice there are many paragliders. The Merkur, Baden-Baden's local mountain, is often well attended because the cable car also goes up.

The Hohlohturm, also known as the Kaiser Wilhelm Turm, towers over the Hohlohmoor. A beautiful boardwalk with many benches and views of the Hohlohsee leads through the moor. The Hohlohmoor is a retreat for the endangered capercaillie.

Wonderful view over the northern Black Forest

The summit of Baden-Baden's local mountain has a lot to offer (lots of rest areas, a source of drinking water, a playground, restaurants and of course great views) and can also be reached by foot or pedal with the Merkur Railway. Accordingly, there is a lot going on here on days with good weather.
