Path to the Crivitz Arboretum

There are no traces of the first church in Crivitz. The foundation remains in the sacristy probably belong to a successor. The current building was probably built in brick at the end of the 14th century. While retaining the same floor plan, it underwent a number of changes over the centuries. The Mecklenburg Coach Museum in Kabrow II is an absolute must! There are over 200 lovingly restored carriages from all over the world to see. Admission costs a mere five (as of May 2023) and anyone who needs refreshment after being amazed will find what they are looking for in the museum café. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday. The Mecklenburg Coach Museum is a real highlight for anyone interested in coaches from bygone eras, and there is also a small coffee. Everything is cared for with great attention to detail.

Here the Warnow rises 62 m above sea level, which then flows 155 km to Warnemünde in the Baltic Sea. Like many springs in the north, the Warnow also gushes under the pond, so you can't even see it. According to legend, the spring was under the anvil of the village smithy. It has been lovingly reproduced here. Overall, the area around the spring is beautifully designed.
