The swing bridge over the Pinnau between Neuendeich and Moorrege-Klevendeich is an outstanding technical monument. It is one of the oldest preserved swing bridges in Europe. The 91 m long structure with its single-lane roadway made of wooden planks consists of three superstructures made of steel framework. Since 1975, the revolving beam has been moved remotely from the keeper's cottage with the help of an electric motor. Characteristic are the mighty pillars on which the roadway girder is turned horizontally to the side 😊.

Visitors can explore Schleswig-Holstein's largest raised bog on a nearly four-kilometer-long nature trail. It leads over soft peat soil, through birch forests, and along a boardwalk. Information boards along the trail provide information about the extraordinary flora and fauna. At three different locations, vantage points offer a beautiful view of the moor lake and the former peat mining areas.

Because the footbridge is raised, the vegetation underneath is preserved and the water can flow away unhindered.

The mill is located 1.5 km north of Tangstedt in the Pinneberg district on the upper reaches of the Pinnau, into which the associated large mill pond drains. The first documentary mention comes from January 24th 1382 as molen to der Wulvesborch. The mill remained in the hands of the sovereigns for centuries. The former mill complex and the outdoor facilities with mill pond have been placed under protection as a cultural monument. Delicious eating and drinking is also possible :-) Popular with cycling for the super kitchen.

The swing bridge over the Pinnau was completed in 1887. As a cultural monument, it is now a listed building and is one of the two oldest swing bridges still in operation in Germany. The bridge keeper used to crank the bridge up and down with a handwheel to turn it sideways for shipping. Today this is done by an electric motor.
