The lake at the radio towers (Wolnysee) is a 5.1 ha lake in Pinneberg. Instead of going to the outdoor pool, the lake offers pure relaxation in the middle of the green. There is enough space on the surrounding sunbathing lawns for sunbathing, playing or having a picnic. From May to September, the lake at the radio towers (Wolnysee) is a popular destination. The mill is located 1.5 km north of Tangstedt in the Pinneberg district on the upper reaches of the Pinnau, into which the associated large mill pond drains. The first documentary mention comes from January 24th 1382 as molen to der Wulvesborch. The mill remained in the hands of the sovereigns for centuries. The former mill complex and the outdoor facilities with mill pond have been placed under protection as a cultural monument. Delicious eating and drinking is also possible :-) Popular with cycling for the super kitchen.

You can relax here in summer. Water lilies are blooming on the pond and the frogs are croaking. A pavilion stands on the edge and invites you to take a break. In winter the frozen pond is good for ice skating.

The swing bridge over the Pinnau was completed in 1887. As a cultural monument, it is now a listed building and is one of the two oldest swing bridges still in operation in Germany. The bridge keeper used to crank the bridge up and down with a handwheel to turn it sideways for shipping. Today this is done by an electric motor.
