There are two guest rooms. When the weather is nice, there is still space outside under the shady trees. There are Palatinate specialties, changing daily specials, various types of coffee and home-made cakes. There is also draft beer from a local brewery and delicious Palatinate wines from the Meckenheim wine region. There is a large playground for the kids. A disabled toilet, a changing table and circular paths suitable for strollers. Private parties can also be organized.

One of the Palatinate Forest Association's more than 300 knight's stones is located here. It is assumed that the 5 boundary stones, “which were set into a large sandstone slab in the immediate vicinity of the Ritterstein, are related to the Haingeraiden [a type of forest cooperative]. The largest of the 'Five Stones' contains a large number of engraved boundary signs and house brands that signaled participation in forest rights. It is a Haingeraide-Loog rock (Eitelmann 2005, page 181). [...] The Ritterstein part of the name 'Lolosruhe' refers to a bench that was once set up at the top of the pass. A connection is often made to Lola Montez, a mistress of the Bavarian King Ludwig I (1786 - 1868), whose summer residence Ludwigshöhe was a few kilometers down the valley (Eitelmann, 2005, p.184)."
