This morning I walked the almost 16 km. Unfortunately, you can only rarely walk directly near the water. Unfortunately, apart from the asphalt band around the lake, there are no real hiking trails. It's ok for cycling and jogging, but not for hiking.

The dining car is worth a stop. Not only the view, but also the offer was very good, delicious snacks for the little hunger in between, definitely try the delicious 😋 pancakes.

The 34.8-kilometer circular route around both lakes near Markkleeberg is a great experience. Although the path was well frequented, you can still find a place to rest and enjoy nature.

A nice little snack bar for a quick snack with an excellent view. There are delicious pancakes in many unusual creations, coffee and various drinks. Just stop by on your next tour ☺️. It is particularly worth mentioning that the snack bar is open even when the weather is not so good, which can make some tours even more enjoyable when it rains. A beautiful lake with great beaches and houses right on the water, some of which can be rented. The cycle path leads completely around the Hainer See.

The Störmthaler See is worthwhile in every season. You can cycle very well, well signposted and almost entirely paved. Many swimming areas and a lot of gastronomy is offered ....
