Like the neighboring Bockwitzer See, Lake Harth is a residual open-cast mining lake created by the Borna-Ost lignite open-cast mine. It is located in Leipzig's New Lake District, east of Borna and north of Frohburg, and was flooded from 1987 to 1995. It is an approved EU bathing water site.

하르트 호수는 이웃한 보크비처 호수와 마찬가지로 갈탄 채굴 Borna-Ost에서 유래한 노천 채굴 잔여 호수입니다. 라이프치히 신 호수 지역에 있으며 보르나 동쪽, 프로부르크 북쪽에 위치하며 1987년부터 1995년까지 물이 채워졌습니다. 하르트 호수에는 푸드트럭이 있는 해변, 여러 개의 "개인" 수영 공간, 그리고 두 번째 주차장에 더 작은 해변이 있습니다. 낚시 협회가 이 지역을 관리하며 일부 여름날에는 2유로의 주차 요금을 부과합니다.
