The Mainz South Bridge (also known as the Mainz-South Railway Bridge, and at times as the Mainz-Gustavsburg Railway Bridge) is a railway bridge on the Mainz–Frankfurt railway line, spanning the Rhine at river kilometer 496.4 and connecting Mainz in Rhineland-Palatinate with Gustavsburg in Hesse. A footbridge attached to the north side of the bridge allows pedestrians and cyclists to cross the river.

The Nidda rises in Vogelsberg at an altitude of 720 m and flows into the Main in Frankfurt-Höchst. Today she covers around 90 km. Before its regulation in the 1920s and 60s, its river length was almost twice as long. With Höchst Castle in sight, it is probably one of the most beautiful spots on the Nidda.

The city of Nidda itself is worth a visit. The Hotel Zur Traube has its own brewery, "good beer" and the food there is nothing to complain about. The portions are more than sufficient. The team is great. The only thing that could still be improved is a somewhat generous space for the wheels.
