The bridge is currently not passable: Information from the train to the Lindaunisbrücke: The bridge has been closed to passers-by since March 6, 2023. The visit from the port is worthwhile. Over the bridge and then on to the Borby viewing platform.

The port town of Eckernförde, which emerged from a fishing settlement, is worth a visit not least because of its pretty old town and the museum harbor. For example, you can learn a lot about the underwater world of the Baltic Sea in the Baltic Sea Info Center. Here you can even get close to the sea creatures in the feeling pool. The pedestrian zone also invites you to take a leisurely stroll.

There is so much to see and do. The fishermen in the harbor, the sea, the boats, the old town with the beautiful historic buildings ... Eckernförde is definitely worth a visit.
