On the Rosenberg is the private cemetery of the Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff family, who have owned the spa town of Driburg since 1781. A chapel is located next to the cemetery.

Given that the castle has been left to decay since 1444, there are still a surprising number of remains left. The Bad Driburg local history association has described and commented on it in detail.

On the Rosenberg is the grave of the bath founder Caspar Heinrich Graf von Sierstorpff (1750-1842), crowned by an obelisk. The mausoleum was later supplemented with the burial chapel and the family cemetery of the Counts of Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff. The Rosenberg, whose first facilities date back to the late 18th century, was and is an attractive scenic hiking destination, with some straight and some curved paths leading to it and the top of which offers a view of the Alhausen valley. There was also a large ice cellar on the edge of the Rosenberg. Source: Wikipedia
