Extremely well-organized hut operation, which, however, lacks the special charm of an alpine hut. After the rebuild everything was in tip top order and the hut operators were very charismatic.

Cozy AV hut built on top of the dam. From the inside of the dining room you have a wonderful view of the lake and can enjoy the whole thing even in bad weather.

The Douglasshütte is right next to the mountain station of the Lünerseebahn. Unfortunately, we were here too early in the morning, so it wasn't worth stopping at, but it looked very cozy in the hut. It was rather uncomfortable on the sun terrace today because of a foehn storm.
