    Located right next to the Lünerseebahn mountain station, the Douglasshütte is a restaurant with a large panoramic terrace. From here, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake. However, on nice days, it's not easy to get a seat.

            The Douglasshütte is right next to the mountain station of the Lünerseebahn. Unfortunately, we were here too early in the morning, so it wasn't worth stopping at, but it looked very cozy in the hut. It was rather uncomfortable on the sun terrace today because of a foehn storm.

                                                I stayed there overnight so I wouldn't have to drive home after climbing the Schesaplana, and I felt well looked after. There's a shower available, which isn't always the case on the mountain.
