I can't really understand what Björn said. Was here in August 2024 and can only praise and recommend the hut, the host and his team and the food, both in terms of quality and quantity. Please don't forget: this is a mountain hut at over 2000m above sea level in the Alps

Great bike tour, not strenuous! Jamtalhütte is super nice, not expensive, staff and host very nice! Great area.

This is an answer to @Björns mostly negative review further up. Bringing ingredients for meals on these mountain huts is incredibly expensive. On some huts this has to be done by helicopter. On most mountain huts there is just one "Bergsteiger-Essen" offered and nothing else, no vegan or vegetarian option, because it's simply not working like a restaurant in the city with great infrastructure and a supermarket next doors. Luckily most mountain-goers will know how to take your review. All the best to you.
