A wonderful, varied trail. Very well signposted, with numerous information panels about history and nature. A very short stretch runs along a quiet road, which you cross twice. There's a large parking lot, a nice, odor-free outhouse, and an information and barbecue pavilion at the beginning and end of the hike. Not quite halfway along, there's a picnic area (at the Dullaberg "summit" cross). For provisions or to refuel, we recommend a visit to the ICA NÄRE (a small shop with a café) in Lidhult.

I agree with the general enthusiasm for this great spot. I was here in winter and was glad I had snowshoes with me. Several skiers also made the ascent over the east on foot, but the way over the fell definitely required skis or snowshoes. I went up to the west and it was quite a climb. But great! Since I was up in the fog the first time, I came back again in good weather. I could only share my photos on the neighboring highlight “this view”.

The 826 meter high Totthummeln is - along with Åreskutan and Mullfjället - one of the three peaks of Åredalen. Not many people climb the summit in winter, but in summer it is a popular hiking and excursion destination. The Totthummeln is the fastest accessible and most weather-protected of the three peaks. If you cover the entire route from the valley on foot, you have almost five kilometers of hiking distance and around 420 meters of altitude ahead of you. On top of Sweden, beautiful. The walk to it is quite long and especially with snow sometimes quite difficult. But despite that, it's definitely worth it! With the view must have succeeded a bit.
