The Ischler Hütte is located at approximately 1,368 meters in the Schwarzenbergalm region of the Totes Gebirge mountains. It was built in the 1920s and later replaced by a new octagonal structure. It can only be reached on foot, for example, from the Rettenbachalm. The hut offers not only sweeping views of the mountains but also traditional dishes such as cheese dumplings and game dishes – all freshly prepared in a cozy, alpine atmosphere.

Great view of the mountains from the terrace. Book in advance.

After 17 years there is a new, very nice tenant at the hut. There is a dish of the day, excellent snacks and pastries.
