What a fantastic rest stop, with a magnificent view of the Alps to the south and the Black Forest with a view of the Feldberg to the north. Plus, a bench and a lounger.

A little before the viewing point on the Albsteig, in Wolpadingen you can still take a drink with you from Jacob's "Wander Drive In". A small table in front of a building with drinks and a donation box, a small sign next to it indicates this. I came by myself in October, when there was this very nice opportunity for hikers. 🙂

Since Easter, the tower and the Gugelstube have been renovated and are only served on Saturdays and Sundays. On September 25th, 2022, everything should be ready for the Gugelturm Festival. From November 1st the restaurant will go on winter break.

The Geisberg is 1050 m high. A break to enjoy the great view is definitely worth it here!

This summit cross is at an altitude of 1100m. You have a great view in all directions. In the north you can see Herzogenhorn, Feldberg and Seebuck, among others. In the south the Swiss Alps🇨🇭. There is an orientation board in both directions. There are several benches and a wellness lounger available for your enjoyment. If you walk along the “Ilbacher Panoramaweg” you are at its highest point.
