The car park in Brunnen above the bridge is a good place for the tour. Free of charge, mostly little frequented and here you can decide whether to take the direct route to Kniebis or the small detour past the Bannwaldsee. I always ride counterclockwise, but that's a matter of taste.

Great alpine panorama from every point on the lake. The cycle path all around is well signposted, there are many places to stop and swim.
