Yes, the Alpsee is a jewel, unique among the seven large lakes in the Königswinkel and definitely worth a visit. But, as Harry wrote above, not ON the bike. Please DO NOT leave the Fürstenstraße and DO NOT particularly use the Sommerweg on the north side and the Kitzbergweg/Unteren Winterzugweg on the south side - please, just don't do it, you only harm the biker community!

The turquoise water against this mighty mountain backdrop.... ! Only about half of the circular route is accessible for wheelchair users or strollers!

Fantastically beautiful lake. The circular route is worth it. Great views of the lake and castles.
